一、教学目标
1、知识与技能目标:
1)、学生能听懂、会说和认读下列词汇:
birthday, party, cake
2)、学生能理解并口头运用下列句子:
Happy birthday! Thank you.
3)、学生能唱歌曲:Happy birthday!
4)、学生能了解字母k, g, f, v, e 在单词中的发音及其规则。
2、情感态度:
1)、学生敢于、乐于开口说英语。体会说用语的乐趣。
2)、学生对英语活动有兴趣。积极参与。
3)、学生在小组活动中能与他人积极配合与合作。
3、学习策略:
1)、学生在学习中集中精力,对所学内容主动练习和运用。
2)、学生积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。
二、教学重、难点
(一)教学重点:
1、学生能听懂、会说和认读下列词汇:
birthday, party, cake
2、学生能理解并口头运用下列句子:
Happy birthday! Thank you.
3、学生能唱歌曲:Happy birthday!
4、学生能了解字母k, g, f, v, e 在单词中的发音及其规则。

三、教学过程
Class opening and review
1.Greeting:
Hello, boys and girls. How are you?
Nice to meet you!
2.Listen to the song “If you are happy...”
【设计意图】:师生互致问候,开创良好的课堂氛围,引出happy。
New Concept
(一).New Words
1、Learn some new words.
T: Boys and girls, what are they doing?(教师展示一张热闹的过生日的幻灯片。)
S: 笑\唱歌……
T:Yes, they are singing a Birthday song. Are they happy or sad? ( 老师出示开心,快乐和伤心的幻灯片。对比学习happy.)
S: Happy.
T:Great, they are happy. They are singing. happy, h-a-p-p-y, happy.(板书 happy)
S: happy, h-a-p-p-y, happy.
T: happy, happy, I’m happy! (带读单词,拼读单词,注意红色的字母的拼读和读音。)
S: happy, happy, I’m happy!
T: Happy birthday to Lucy(班里的一名学生) !( 学习词组生日快乐).
S: Happy birthday to Lucy.
在各个小组中找出一名学生,同学们对他\她进行祝福。
Show a picture of, a birthday cake (with candles), gifts and a bunch of balloons over the gift and a cake.(展示一张生日聚会的图片。)
T: What picture is this ?(可以用中文解释一下)
S:生日聚会\birthday party.(有些学生可能知道。)
T: Good work. Yes, it ‘s birthday party. (Follow me) party, p-a-r-t-y, party(板书)

T: Birthday party
S: Birthday party
Show a picture.——cake(幻灯片展示)
T: What’s this?
S: 蛋糕或者 cake.(有些同学可能知道蛋糕的英文)
T: Yes. It’s a cake. Read after me -----cake, c-a-k-e, cake. (板书 cake)
S: cake, c-a-k-e, cake.
T: Good work .Show me your finger, speak and write it again.
S: cake, c-a-k-e, cake.(学生重新读出单词)
T: What is it? (点击幻灯片出现生日蛋糕的图片) S: 生日蛋糕或者birthday cake
T: Great!! Yes .It’s a birthday cake. And now show me your finger read after me.( 板书 birthday).
S: birthday, b-i-r-t-h-d-a-y, birthday.
T: What else can you see?
S: 很多人。
T: Many people and many gifts.
(实物教学-一个包装好的礼包) What’s this?
S: 礼物(gift)\ It’s a gift.
T: Yes, read after me. gift ,g-i-f-t, gift.(板书).

GAME:小组之间进行表演同学之间,对话练习。老师演示:
T: Here’s your gift.(随便在教室找出一名学生,把这个礼物盒子给他)
S: Thank you!
【设计意图】:在教学中,培养一种习惯是很重要的,这个环节的设立时为了培养学生的礼貌意识,同时帮助学生养成一种感恩的心态。体现以人为本的教育理念和本质。

4.Dialogue
T: Whose birthday is today??Let’s open our books,p58,part 1,listen and read it ,then answer my questions.
T: OK, boys and girls, Time’s up.
T: Question1 Whose birthday?
S1: Jenny’s birthday.
T: Question 2 How old is she\he?
S2: Ten \Ten years old.\She is ten years old.
T: Question 3 Is Jenny happy?
Ss: Yes.
T: Question4 Why? Why is Jenny happy? Because it’s Jenny’s ……(指着生日照片)
Ss: Birthday.
T: Yes. That’s right, Jenny is ten years old.( Follow me )
Ss: Jenny is ten years old.
5.Practice in groups.
6.Let’s dub.
【设计意图】:听读输入后,学生练习后再通过配音输出,激发了孩子们的学习兴趣,在活动中掌握了新知的应用。
7. Letters and sounds.
T: Boys and girls, Let’s look at this picture.
Listen And then, Please read these words loudly and tell me what you found?
S: 每行中红色的字母读音一样。

练习题:想想自己学过的单词里有与红色字母发音相同的单词吗?写写写看!

【设计意图】:为了让学生把单词的音读准,除了听还要多读。鼓励学生大声的读出来。并发现其相同点和不同点,对学生的观察能了的提升有非常大的帮助。学到的知识,马上练习巩固,对知识的掌握有促进作用。
8.Let’s sing.
播放光盘中的歌曲,让学生跟唱。
T: Whose birthday is today? (看看班里有没有正好今天过生日的学生。)
S1:Today is my birthday.
T: Let’s sing this song for_______.


【设计意图】:学生们能够回到快乐的时光。如果班里正好有一位学生时今天的生日,那就组织学生都给这名过生日的学生送去生日的祝福,并一起给他唱一唱刚学的生日歌。
Homework
1. Listen and read Lesson 23.
2. Give gifts to the classmates whose birthday is today and practice.
