Lesson 16Warm and Cool
一、教学目标
1、知识与技能目标：
1）、本课学习巩固功能句型.What is it? It’s___.This is _____. That is_____.表达自己的身体部位及感觉。学习如何在真实的情景中谈论，进行日常交流。并学习单词warm ,cool, hot, cold, shoulder, stomach, knee, finger, toe
2）、通过创设真实生动的情景，学生能够运用句型
3）、培养和提高学生在真实情景中运用语言的能力。
2、情感态度：
1）、通过丰富有趣的活动，让学生体会到学习英语的乐趣，并感受在日常生活中如何运用英语，如何用英语表达自己正确的意思。
2）、对学生进行热爱大自然的德育教育。
3、学习策略：
1）、通过大量练习学习巩固功能句型及回答，学习如何在真实的情景中谈论进行真实日常交流。
2）、通过创设真实生动的情景，学生能够运用句型进行交流。
3）、跨学科、跨文化学习，培养和提高学生在真实情景中运用语言的能力。
4、文化意识：
1）、体会中文与西方语言的差异。
2）、逐渐开阔视野、提高自己的文化意识。
二、教学重、难点
（一）教学重点：
单词warm，cool的听懂、会说和认读。
（二）教学难点：
运用所学词汇说简单句子This is…/That’s …，能在实际生活中运用。
三、教学过程
Class Opening and Review
1.Warm up: Listen to a songbefore class.
【设计意图】：欢快的歌曲营造了轻松的氛围，也和本课的新授内容一脉相承，能使学生很快进入到最佳的学习状态中。
2.Play a game:
Ppt出示图片，加入This is cold.师生进行问答。
【设计意图】：游戏都是孩子们喜欢的复习形式，使学生的学习热情更加高涨，也顺利的激活了学生已有的知识，加入This is...句型，为下面的This is warm。 This is cool的教学做了很好的铺垫。
New Concepts
1.Introduce
T： Thank you, my friends. I feel better now. I’m not cold. I feel warm. I feel warm. Warm，say it, please.
(引出单词warm,出示词卡教读、生齐读、one by one读，由高到低读)
T: Do you feel warm?
Ss: Yes, I am warm.
T: Do you know the opposite of warm? Yes, cool.
Cool凉爽的，凉快的。
(引出单词cool,出示词卡教读，生齐读、分组读，)
T: Look, am I cool? (出示一些很酷的图片)
Cool has another mean “酷，绝妙的”。When you get a good idea, you can say “cool”. When you do some good things that others can’t do it, you are cool. Understand?
I think you are cool boys and cool girls, you are the best. Come on!
【设计意图】通过PPT图片顺理成章的介绍warm,在教学cool时，把孩子们熟悉的生活中常用的含义“酷，绝妙的”介绍给他们，孩子们更感兴趣。

2.Practice
Listen and repeat.
听录音跟读N1，解释ouch。
T：What does it mean? it means “哎呀” 。“Ouch” is like “oh” in Chinese.
T: Can you say something hot/cold/warm/cool? （学生说一说）
【设计意图】让学生说一说生活中冷、热、温暖、寒冷的东西，既能打开孩子们的思维，又学以致用。
3.Listen and match.



【设计意图】学生在听的同时，再次感知新知。
4.Read and fill in the blanks.


【设计意图】使学生的感知深化到书写。

5.Let’s do it!
（1）Pairwork: Talk about the pictures.
学生讨论书上40页第二部分的图片。
（2）Match the words and the pictures.
学生完成将图片和词汇正确连线的活动。
【设计意图】让学生先抢答说句子，然后讨论图片说句子，最后落实到笔头上连线。
6.What is it？



引出shoulder, knee, toe，stomach, finger指相应的身体部位教学shoulder，fingers,knees stomach,toe
7.Point and say .
T: (指自己的肩膀)What is it?
Ss: It’s a shoulder.
T:（晃动自己的手指）What are they?
Ss: They are fingers.
T: How many fingers do you have?
Ss: Ten.

8.Let’s sing!
(1)Teach the students each line of the song with the actions. Touch the parts of your body as you sing the words.
(2)Sing this song two times.

T: Now let’s look at what we have learned. Read altogether. One, two.
