一、教学目标
(一)知识和技能目标
1、能够听懂、会说、认读和书写以下词汇:year also
2、掌握并能运用句型:
-What year are you?
-My year is the year of…
3、了解熟悉十二生肖的名称,并知道十二生肖的排位。
4、能够正确使用第一到第十二的序数词。
5、了解自己与同学的属相。
(二)情感和态度目标
培养学生树立热爱动物、保护动物的情感。
(三)学习方法与策略
本课以学生熟悉的经验和生活情境为基础,通过多媒体教学手段,以及各式各样的课堂活动,使学生在快乐中获得知识。
二、教学重难点

(二)教学难点
能够用英语表达中国的十二生肖,并能知道它们的正确排序。
三、教学过程
Class opening
1.Greetings and review
T: Hello, boys and girls.
Ss: Hello, teacher.
T: How old are you?
S: I’m 11 years old.
T: Which year were you born?
S: Sorry, I don’t know.
New concepts
1.Lead in
T: What animals do you know? In China, years have names. Each year has an animal name. Do you know what they are.
