一、教学内容:
Module 8 Unit 1 Is it a monster?本课主要是培养学生能够听懂、会说用语“Is it a(n)...? It's a ..."并能熟练进行会话。
二、教学内容分析:
本单元的课文情景是在公园里,两个小女孩看到树丛后面有奇怪的东西,于是做出各种猜测,她们越想越害怕。并用“Help”进行呼救。在猜测过程中,他们一直使用“Is it a…?”说出自己的猜测。他们已经看到了这个奇怪东西的一部分,有一定的把握。但是不够肯定。这种情况,就要用到本单元的句式“Is it a…?”来进行询问了。21世纪教育网版权所有
三、教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标:
a. 能够听懂、会说词汇:monster, now, kite, don’t=do not, know, no, not (isn’t=is not), help等。 njy.com
b. 能够听懂、会说用语:“Is it a cat? Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t. ” 并掌握一般疑问句的升调。21·cn·jy·com

四、教学重点:
1. 掌握单词yes, no, not (isn’t=is not), help.
2. 掌握句子Is it a …?并能够用Yes, it is. No, it isn’t.来进行回答。
五、教学难点:
1. kite, cat两个单词的发音与区分。
2. I don’t know 的发音与理解。

Ⅰ、Preparation
1. Greetings: Good morning boys and girls!
Ss: Good morning teacher!
2. Sing a chant: What’s this?
Ⅱ、 Presentation
1. Ask and answer. (PPT show a cat kite.)
T: Good, boys and girls. Look! What’s this?
S1: kite. S2: cat.
