教材分析
本单元继续学习现在进行时。通过课文的学习,使学生能够运用本单元的重点句型 “What are they doing?” “They are …” 来谈论人们在公园中的活动,描述正在发生的动作。

学情分析
孩子们在前面的模块中,已经接触过现在进行时的表达,对于本课的学习难度不是很大。本单元的重点是让孩子们感知“they”这一人称,描述其正在发生的动作,并进行相应的问答。

教学目标
1. 知识与技能:
A. 能够理解词汇kid, get on, can, see, lots of, interesting, thing, people, tajiquan, row, boat, men(man), between, chess, play chess, drink, soya milk, clock, hungry, Me too。能够认读并运用单词drink。
B. 能够运用What are they doing?They’re playing chess. What are they drinking? They’re drinking milk. 询问不明白场景,并进行说明。
2. 过程与方法:
运用任务型教学、直观教学、情景教学、肢体语言表述等方法帮助学生在视、听、说、读、唱等有趣的活动中,自主愉快地学习掌握本单元重点内容,发展学生口语表达能力。
3. 情感态度价值观:
在文化意识上加深对中国传统体育文化的理解。

教学重、难点
全体学生能运用What are they doing?They’re playing chess. What are they drinking? They’re drinking milk. 询问不明白场景,并进行说明。

教学过程
(一)Warming-up
Step 1: Sing a song.
教师与学生在愉快的氛围中演唱歌曲I’m listening to music, 并配以相应的动作。
Step 2: Listen and do.
教师发号指令,学生做相应的动作。
T: Run!
Ss: do the action.
T: What are you doing?
Ss: I am running. (swim, fly a kite, ride a bike…)
Step 3: Who’s the lucky dog?
教师抽取学生学号,被抽到的幸运学生做动作。
T: What are you doing?
S1: I am …
Step 4: Listen and answer: What are they doing?
教师播放活动1的动画,学生仔细听并回答 “They’re listening to music. They are playing football. ”, 初步感知 “What are they doing?”, 同伴间进行问答练习。
Step 5: Listen and repeat.
学生进行跟读模仿,注意感知小猴子们的语音语调。
(二)Presentation
T: Boys and girls, today we are going to talk about what’s happening now. And at last, we will have a competition. Please try your best, and let’s see which group can row your boat furthest. Are you ready?
Ss: Yes!
T: Let’s go!
(三)Text learning
Step 1: Listen and answer: Where are Amy and Daming?
教师播放课文动画,学生认真听并做回答,将学生引入到本课的情境中---在公交车上。
Step 2: Listen and find out: What are they doing?
T: Look at the people in the park. What are they doing?
S1: They’re doing taijiquan.
T: Look at the people on the lake. What are they doing?
S2: They’re rowing a dragon boat.

(教师运用情境语言并配以肢体动作,引导学生自主感知、学习本课的重难点,并且通过小组表演问答、学生个体表演问答等多种方式不断强化,加深学生对新知识的理解。)
Step 3: Listen and repeat.
教师再次播放课文动画,让学生逐句跟读。在跟读过程中注意对个别有难度单词的讲解,并强化学生的语音语调。
Step 4: Listen and repeat. (Activity 3)
教师带领学生跟读活动3的内容,进一步巩固本课重难点。
(四)Practice
Step 1: Look, act and say.
教师带领学生进行小组表演活动,邀请一组到讲台前进行操作展示,然后其他小组在组内表演练习,最后汇报展示。
(学生六人一组。S1负责抽取单词卡片,S2、S3、S4根据卡片内容表演动作,S5、S6两人根据动作,进行目标语句的问答对话:
S5: Look, what are they doing?
S6: They’re …)
Step 2: Listen and match.
完成学生活动用书的第一题,听音连线。教师巡视,适时指导帮助。
(五)Task completion
教师带领学生完成开课前所布置的任务活动。学生六人一组,教师给每组6张图片,请学生用现在进行时问答图片的内容,进行组内看图说话比赛。每组需在教师规定时间内完成,然后推选出优胜者,参加班级的看图说话比赛。最后选出获胜者,为小组加分。
(六)Summary and homework
总结本课重点知识,评选最佳小组进行奖励,布置课后作业。
