 本课时内容选自外研社新标准英语(三起)四年级上册第一模块的第一课时。本课时主要通过卡通人物Lingling和Daming等创设故事情
境,学习句型We’re going to …并感知一般将来时所表示的意义。

学



 四年级的孩子活泼好动,对英语学习兴趣浓厚。但由于三年级所开设的周英语课程较少,学生的学习掌握情况不敬如人意。学生也因此缺乏自信,羞于表演和
读英语。因此,本节课的目的在于增强孩子的自信心,敢于挑战和开口说英语。






创新性目标
利用课件动画演示,将海南的椰子和本课新单词结合起来,游戏巩固所学单词的读音以及所表示的意思。


知识性目标
1.能借助课件及动画掌握“visit ,tomorrow, plane, from,
sock,sea,swimsuit”等新单词的读音及所表达的中文意思。
2.能使用句子结构:I’m going to .../We’re going to ...与同桌进行简单交流。


教育性目标
通过出示我国著名景点图片,谈论将要去参观的名胜古迹,培养孩子热爱祖国大好河山的爱国主义情结。

1. Ss greet with the T.

2.Sing the song of P42 with claps.

(1)Ss look at the picture on PPT and answer: It’s a zoo. Read the new word “visit” after the teacher.


(2).The Ss do the action after the teacher.
Presentation:
a.Ss listen, point activity1.(tape)
b.Ss point and say activity1 after the video sentence by sentence.(video)
c. chant together.(video)

(1)Ss look at the picture about Hainan.

(2).Listen for the first time with video, answer the questions:“How many people are there in the text? Who are they?”
Feedback:
(There are five people there.
(They are father, mother, Amy, Sam and Xiaoyong.
(3).Ask Ss to listen for the second time with video and answer the questions:“Where is Sam from? What is Xiaoyong going to do?
Feedback:
(Sam is from the UK.
(Xiaoyong is going to visit his grandpa and swim.

(4)Ss continue to watch and listen and answer the question“Can Xiaoyong go to swim?
Feedback:
No,he can’t.

S1: Xiaoyong has no swimsuit and socks.

(5).Follow the tape sentence by sentence. Learn the new words, and try to read the text fluently.
5.Read in roles for five people.

6.Act in the groups.

7.Retell Activity 2 according to the text.

There are two boys. They are Sam and Xiaoyong. Sam is from_______. but Xiaoyong is from_______. Sam is going to visit ______, But Xiaoyong is going to visit _______. Sam is going to ______, and Xiaoyong is going to swim too. But Xiaoyong don’t take (带上)swimsuit, shoes and socks .He can’t ______.

8.The Ss close their books and listen to the video and read.

9.Ask the Ss to practice in the pairs.

And have a show before the class.

1.Listen to the tape P44--46 for 5minutes.
Read P44--46 three times.
Make the sentences according to Activity 4 of P46

1.T greets with the Ss as usual.
“Good morning, boys and girls. How are you? And what’ s the weather like today?”
2.T: Do you like singing songs? Let’s sing together.
Ask the Ss to sing the song with claps music.

3. (1)T:Look!What’s this?Do you like the zoo? Yes, there are many animals in the zoo. Now, I’m going to visit the zoo.
Ask the Ss to look at the picture about “zoo” and teach the new word”visit”.(show word card, read, spell, and write down)

(2).Present the sentences of Activity 1
T: Now, let’s listen to the tape, open your books, and point, listen.

(1)T:The zoo is a very interesting place, but today we're going to visit another place, Hainan, Hainan is also very good.

(2)T: listen to the video for the first time and answer the following questions:
(How many people are there ? (Who are they?”
(3)T: now listen and watch the video for the second time, and answer the questions:
(Where is Sam from? (read, spell and write down the new word “from”)
(What is Xiaoyong going to do?

(4).T:Now let’s continue to to listen watch and see, answer the question“Can Xiaoyong go to swim? And why?”
(learn the new words swimsuit and sock, read, spell, write down.)

(5).Ask Ss to follow the tape once. And learn the new words “tomorrow, plane, sea” with the help of PPT.

9. T: Hainan is a beautiful city in China. In our country, there are many many beautiful places. Where are you going to?
Show the ppt about activity 4 and other pictures . Ask the student practice the sentences.

Set homework

从询问天气开启课堂,使学习从融入西方文化开始。

复习巩固已学歌曲,活跃课堂气氛。

孩子对动物有着本能的喜爱,因此由动物园的话题引入活动一的学习,容易吸引孩子注意力;
通过观看动画教学视频,随文学习新单词,降低单词认读的难度。

由“天涯海角”的图片过渡到活动二的学习,转换学生的注意力。

通过“任务型”教学法,在孩子们观看教学动画时,设定问题,带着问题去观看,思考,能观有所思,学有所获。问题设置由易到难,照顾了全班各个层次的学生学习需求。


游戏巩固新单词读法,结合海南的特点——椰子,课件制作动画演示,吸引孩子注意力,同时在课堂中段放松身心,避免视觉疲劳。

小组扮演角色,培养合作意识和英语口语表达能力。

课件展示课文图片及课文大意,引导学生回忆所学新知,锻炼口语表达及记忆力。

巩固新知输入。

通过出示北京长城,青城山,杭州西湖和洛带古镇的图片,操练句型,同时激发孩子的爱国热情。
