Language Points
1. What does he look like? 
他长得什么样子?相当于:What’s he like?
(1)What do /does sb. look like? 用来询问
某人的外貌特征。常用主语+be+描述外貌的形容
词或主语+have/has+名词两种方式回答。
(2)What is sb. like?可用来询问某人的品质
和外貌长相。询问外貌长相时与What do/does
sb.look like?做同义句转换。
汤姆长得什么样?
What does Tom look like?
=What’s Tom like?
回答就应说出某人长相的特征:
e.g. He is very tall. 他个子很高。
  He has long hair. 他头发很长。
  He wears glasses. 他带眼镜。
What’s Tom like?还可译为“汤姆是怎样的一个人?
He’s kind/friendly. 他善良/友好。

2.描述人的长相用动词be还是have/has
3.指人的身材,身高有三种表达法:
(1). be medium build/height
(2). be of medium build/height
(3). have a medium build/height

eg.我妈妈中等身材。
My mother is medium build.
My mother is of medium build.
My mother has a medium build.
4.He is really handsome.
handsome 表示“英俊、潇洒、帅气”多用于形容男性。
a handsome boy 一个英俊的男孩。
描述人长相好看的词语还有很多,如:
good-looking、beautiful等。但是good-Looking
与beautiful 的用法是有区别的:
beautiful 可以指一个人的“外在美”,也可指“心灵美”。
除了指人(女性), 还可以指物.
good-looking 指(外表上)看上去
“令人愉快的, 好看的, 漂亮的”, 可指男孩,
也可指女孩
还有一个常用来修饰女性的单词:
pretty “漂亮, 靓丽”
5. 多个形容词修饰名词时
其顺序为:
限定词--数词--描绘词--(大小, 长短, 形状,
新旧, 颜色)--出处--材料性质, 类别--名词   
a small round table

a dirty old brown shirt 
a famous German medical school
an expensive Japanese sports car
一般与被修饰形容词关系密切的形容词靠近
名词; 如果几个形容词的重要性差不多, 音节
少的形容词在前, 音节多的方在后, 在不能确定
时, 可参照下表: 限定词+数量词(序数词在前, 基数词在后)
+性状形容词+大小、长短、高低等形体+名词
如: those + three + beautiful + large + square  新旧+颜色+国籍+材料+名词
如: old + brown + wood + table
6. He isn’t tall or short.
他不高也不矮。
英语中在受到否定概念限定的部分一般不用and,
而用or。这里的or相当于and not。
如:I don’t have any brothers or sisters
我没有兄弟姐妹。
注意这里用的是 or 而不是 and.
