Part B let’s talk

一 教学目标:
1. 能够 听,说,认读单词:rainy, snowy, cloudy, sunny, windy。
2. 能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话,并能进行角色表演。
3. 能够在情景中运用句型What’s the weather like in New York? It’s rainy. 问答某地天气情况;
二 教学重难点:
重点:在情景中运用句型What’s the weather like in New York? It’s rainy. 问答某地天气情况。
难点:能运用句型What’s the weather like in Beijing? It’s cool and rainy. 问答某城市的天气。
三 教学过程:
(一)lead-in
Greeting.
Show some pictures of different cities to students and ask them to guess what cities they are.
T: Are you familiar with these cities? Can you told us what they are?
【设计意图】:通过图片展示让学生了解不同气候的城市,从而自然导入今天的关于天气的一堂课。
(二)Presentation and practice
1) Learn the new words: rainy ,snowy, cloudy, windy and sunny. The teacher should help the students tell the difference between the nouns and the adjectives.
T: Please close your eyes and listen carefully what kind of sound you will hear?
S: The sound of the rain.
T: Wonderful! It’s the sound of the rain. So what’s the weather like?
S: It’s rain.
T:I think you’d better say like this: it’s rainy.
【设计意图】:让学生闭上眼睛去感受声音可以引起学生的好奇心。在这一问答环节中学生很容易将表示天气的名词和形容词混淆,教师在此要进行正确的引导,并通过不同的方式进行反复的强调。
2)Play a game Find and Match
【设计意图】通过设计游戏:找一找连一连 让教师和学生之间进行互动,活跃课堂气氛,加深学生对词性变化的了解。
3)Show the new sentence ‘ what’ the weather like in …? It’s…?’
T: Just now I always used a sentence to ask the weather. Who can repeat it?
S: What’ the weather like?
T: Yes. Now I want to ask the weather in Beijing so I can ask like this:What’ the weather like in Beijing?
S: It’s sunny.
【设计意图】:在单词板块中已反复使用问天气的句型,此时采用问答形式自然而然的将本课新学句型导入出来,让学生觉得不突兀。
4)Practice the new sentences.
(1) What’s the weather like in New York?
(2) What’s the weather like in Beijing?
(3) What’s the weather like in Lhasa?
(4) What’s the weather like in Harbin?
(5) What’s the weather like in Hong Kong?
(6) What’s the weather like in Xiuning?
【设计意图】:用不同的方式反复训练句型,并采用情境教学法模拟天气预报播报员,从而让学生能在生活中熟练运用询问和回答天气的句型。
4)操练重点句子:What’s the weather like in …? It is ….and…?
【设计意图】:这是本堂课知识的迁移,让学生学会将学过的关于描述天气的单词进行举一反三。
5)Review the new words and sentences.
【设计意图】:通过复习,再次对本课内容进行加深和巩固。
(三)Homework
Make a new dialogue about the weather with your partners.
【设计意图】:本部分是输出环节,将本课新知识融会贯通,学以致用。
