Unit4 Where’s my schoolbag?
Section A (1a—1c)
I. Teaching Aims
(1). Knowledge Goals:
A. New words:table, bed, bookcase, sofa, chair
B. Prepositions: in, on, under等介词;
C. Where questions and their answers .
(2) Ability Goals:
A. Be able to ask and answer Where questions;
B. Be able to describe the positions of things;
C. Be able to describe and design your room.
(3). Feeling Goals:
A. To be clean and tidy;
B.Cooperation between Ss in a group
II.Teaching key points and difficulties:
A. key points: Prep: in, on, under的用法;
Where questions and answers;
bed, table, bookcase, sofa, chair…
B. Difficulties:Be able to use Where questions and answers.
III. Preparation for Teaching: PPT and things for teaching
IV. Teaching Procedure:
Step1. Lead –in (4—5 min)
1. Play a short video about “My little room”.
2. Teacher asks a question about the video: In the little room you can see...
3. Show a picture about my room, and say : This is my room ,look at it carefully, then say :what can you see in my room?
Step2: New words :(20—25分钟)
1. Learn new words.
2. Brain storm. Review all the words by saying quickly.
Step 3: Learn Prepositions (3—5min)
Summary the usage of “in、on、under and behind”.
Practice them.
Step5: Ask and Answer (8—10min)
Do some pair work and performance.
2. Give some pictures and get all the students to practice the main structures in pairs or in groups.
3. Group work
Step 6 Listening and Exercise
Step 7 Writing Practice
Look at the picture and write sentences to describe the position of the things.
Step 8 Exercises.
Step 9 Summary
A: Where’s my schoolbag?
B: It’s under the table.
A: Where are my books?

VI. Teaching Reflection:
本节课主要学习where问句和回答以及in, on, under 和behind四个介词。本节课重难点也是where questions和四个介词。本节课的过程较为流畅。优点是:在整个教学过程中,教师充当了学生学习的引路人、组织者,充分体现了学生的主体性,尊重了学生的个体差异,让他们真正成为学习的主人。新课程标准提倡“任务型”的教学模式和小组合作学习的方式,本节课的设计以任务型的学习模式为主,通过小组合作学习的方式来完成各项任务,开放了学生的思维空间,充分激活了学生的英语思维,为实现今后真正的交际打下了良好的基础。
