Unit 2 How often do you exercise? 教案
单元教材分析:本单元的中心话题是谈论休闲时所进行的活动,本节是本单元的第一节,通过谈论周末进行某项活动的频率,初步学会运用频率副词和目标句型来进行与同伴对话,由于本节的内容与学生的生活息息相关,语言实践性较强,很容易开展话题交流。
本单元应该用“任务型教学模式”来教学。本单元共分Section and Section B两部分,在每部分中,都有一个任务链,在每个任务链中,都有四个任务,而在每个具体的任务中,有分若干个子任务。它们是关联的,是一个有机的整体,教师在教学时,不可鼓励、分割,要明确其服务关系、逻辑关系、先后顺序的内在关系。驾驶可以知道学生妄称任务,让学生自己动手,自己研究,自己发现,自己总结。从而获得响应的语言知识和学习经验。教师做好课堂活动的合理安排。
二、学生情况分析
学生初一已学过一般现在时,并且学习现在进行时已学了许多关于活动的短语,他们已经有了描述活动的能力,因此,本单元学习时注意频率副词或短语的位置即可。只要积极参与教学任务中去,和教师、同伴进行互动、合作交流定能学好这节内容。
三、教学目标:
(一)语言目标
What do you usually do on weekend? I usually play soccer.
How often do you shop?   I shop once a month.
What do ….?  How often…?引导的特殊疑问句、频度副词。
(二)能力目标
听:能听懂谈论生活习惯和学习习惯的对话材料。
说:能运用What do ….?  How often…?句型及频度副词或短语来谈论生活习惯和学习习惯。
读:能读懂关于介绍学生生活、学习习惯的文章,。
写:能运用目标语言写关于多常学习或娱乐的短文。
(三)情感目标
1.通过What du you usually do on weekends ? 这个话题的讨论,从而培养学生学会与人沟通,善于交际、关心别人、融入社会的能力品质。
2、通过相互的调查与讨论,让他们自己得出什么样的英语学习习惯,才是最好的学习讨论方法:什么样的生活习惯,才是最健康的。输送健康概念, 从小就培养学生科学健康的世界观和积极进去的人生观。
3.了解外国中学生周末或休闲时间喜欢做的事情。
过程与方法:看图识词 、 听力配对 、 情景交际 、 综合演绎 、 读表解词 、 相互协作
(四)重 难 点:
重点:
1、以”What do …”句型为引导的日常活动:reading , watch TV , go to the movies , shop , exercise , sleep , drink milk , eat vegetables等。
2、以 “How often…”句型为引导的话题及词汇:always , usually, often , sometimes ,hardly ever , never , three times a week 等。
难点:概率词(all , most ,some , none等)与频率副词(always , usually , often , sometimes , hardly ever , never 等 )的区别

The First Period (Section A 1a -2b)
Step 1 Greetings教学导入
Greet students as usual. Revise the verb phrases learned in Unit 1.And let Ss name more, such as play computer games, go shopping, play the piano. Let Ss work in pairs and finish 1a on Page 9
Step 2 自学指导一。Show the following words on blackboard, let Ss read and tell the Chinese meaning. Then show the Chinese words and let them translate. Time: 2 minutes.
Once a week, twice a month, three times a year, every day, help with housework,
surf the internet, go shopping
自学检测一:Ss translate the Chinese into English. One student, one phrase. Then read them together loudly.
Step 3. 自学指导二。Show the following dialogue ,let Ss read and understand the dialogue, then they work in pairs and make up new ones. Time: 5 minutes.
A: What do you do on weekends?
B: I stay at home and watch TV.
A: How often do you watch TV?
B: I watch TV every day.
自学检测二。Ask a group of students to show their dialogues to the whole class. Pay attention to the use of frequency words.
Step 3自学指导三。Listening and writing
Have students read the frequency words in the chart of 1b. Explain the meaning of always ,usually , often…eg : always means every day usually means many times a week….,then play the tape for students to listen and write out the activities 1n the chart.
自学检测三:Ask some students to report the answers to the whole class and check answers.
Do the same procedures with Activity 2a.
Step 4自学指导四Pairwork
Student Book. Activity 2b.Have students talk about what they do on weekends and How often do they do something each other :
A : How often do you watch TV?
B : I watch TV every day..
A : How often do you use the internet ?
B : I use the internet twice a week..
Then have some pairs to act out their conversations.
教师集中指导:
1.Hardly 和 ever本身含有否定意义,句中有了它,谓语动词要用肯定形式。
2.On weekends在周末(Saturday和 Sunday)
Weekdays指工作日,一般指星期一至星期五即(from Monday to Friday)
3.How often 多久一次,多长时间一次,是用来提问频率的短语。
How many times表示“多少次”,其答语为:once、twice、three times等。
Eg:--How many times do you watch TV every week?
Three times.
5.Twice a week 一周两次
英语中“次数”的表示方式:
Once 一次 twice 两次;
三次以上,都是用“基数词+ times”来表示。
表示次数要注意,time后面加s;
Three times 是三次,twelve times12次;
两次特殊记,once and twice。

教学反思:
现在的新教材词汇量大,单词长,生僻词较多,自然也就增加了教学的难度,但我们又必须让学生掌握,否则难以适应新教材的要求。能够引起学生学习兴趣的方法就是最好的方法.实践证明,拼图法,数字游戏,单词接龙游戏,小歌诀,顺口溜等传统教学方法并不过时,再辅以现代化的教学手段,借助图片,幻灯片,动漫等手段,真正达到重情景,重趣味,重运用,使单词具有语言的意义,使其在特定的语境中被引出,这样既便于学生理解,印象也深刻,从而达到学以致用的效果。

The First Period (Section A 1a -2b)
A : How often do you watch TV?

Then have some pairs to act out their conversations.

The second period (Section A 2d-3c)
Step1 Greetings。教学导入。
Greet students as usual。Ask Ss: what did you do last evening? How often do you do that?
Let Ss make the dialogue in the chain drill.
Step 2 Revision . Do a survey:
Show a chart to students like this .How often do you do these activities? Divide the class into groups of four. After a while, choose one in each group to report the survey.

Step 3自学指导一。Students Book .Activity 2a.Ss work in pairs and make dialogues like this:
A: How often do you watch TV ?
B: I watch TV every day.
A: What’s your favorite program?
B: Animal World.
A: How often do you watch it?
B: Twice a week.
Ss make more dialogues with the phrases in the chart:: Read English books, use the internet, exercise, Go to the movies, etc. Time:3 minutes
自学检测一:Ss show their dialogues to the whole class loudly. Check any mistakes if there is any.
Step 4 自学指导二。
Ss work in pairs ,read and discuss the dialogue in Activity 2d. Make sure they understand each sentence and read each correctly. Time: 4 minutes.
自学检测二:
1.Ask students to read and translate the dialogue. One student, one sentence.
2.Translate the following
Be free, full/empty, kind of, how about, swing dance.
Do you want to come?=Would you like to come?
-Sure, I’d love to .
Step 3自学指导三。Grammar Focus.
Have students read the sentences in the chart of Grammar Focus. Then Ss work in pairs and finish the sentences in Activity 3a and Activity 3b.
自学检测三:Ask some students to read the sentences and check the answers.

Summarize what they have learned .\

Activity 1a.Have students read the words in 1a. Match the words with the pictures .
自学检测一 : Ask a student to report the letter of the match.
Step 3自学指导二:Ask Ss to read the dialogue in Activity 1b. Make more dialogues with the words in 1a. Time: four minutes.
自学检测二:Ask some students to show their dialogues to the whole class.
Step4 自学指导三:Ask Ss to read the questions in Activity 1d. Make sure they understand the meaning of each sentence. Then play the tape for Ss to listen and write the frequency word in the blanks.
自学检测三:Ask Ss to report the answers in each blank. Check mistakes if there is any.
Teacher: We have got to know about Tina and Bill’s habits . Who has a healthy life style? Why? Let Ss think about the question and circle Yes or No in Activity 1c.
Step 5自学指导四::Pair-work Ask Ss to work in pairs and make dialogues with the questions in 1d.Finally, judge if they each have good habits. Time: 3 minutes.
自学检测四:
1.Ask two pairs to show their dialogue to the whole class.
2’Ss write a short passage about their life habits according to the answers to the questions in 1d. Time: five minutes.
Step 6 教师集中讲解:
be good for . 对。。。有好处 反义词:be bad for, for example
Eating lots of fruits and vegetables is good for our healthy.
Don’t in the sun. It’s bad for your healthy.
Want sb. To do sth.想让某人做某事
I can’t stand milk.我不能仍受牛奶
More examples : I can’t stand working in a noisy place.
Ask students to summarize what they have learned.
