教材分析    
本模块的教学内容是谈论正在发生的事件和活动,在Unit2中我们将继续学习动词现在进行时的用法。 学生们在之前的章节中分别学习了用不同人称I, she, he, they进行对话的现在进行时句型。本单元是让我们学会用人称it引导的现在进行时态句型

知识目标    
(1)全体学生能听、说、读以下词汇:drawing, singing, jumping, dancing
(2)全体学生能理解并运用句型 :What is the… doing ? It’s doing sth.   

技能目标
能听懂、会说本课对话。
能够运用所学英语句子,进行简单的扩展性交流。
通过描述动作行为,简要说明一处场景。

2. Talk about the pictures.(PPT呈现)
About:
Maomao is reading.
Lingling is playing football.
Sam and Tom are watching TV.

课前问候,拉近师生的距离。

复习前面章节里学过的现在进行时态句型,是同学们熟悉的人物和活动。为新课的学习铺设场景。      
   

Step2   
Lead- in
and about activity 1.
    
1. Watching the flash.
Answer the question:
What are Amy and Daming doing?
Ss: They are watching the animal show.
Ss: They can see monkeys and an elephant.
They are playing football.
It’s drawing pictures.(教师引导说出,板书后跟读。)
2. Listen and repeat.
T: Our friends are busy now .But where are Amy and Daming ? What are they doing? Let’s have a look
展示课文活动一的动画,请同学们看图。

T: What animals can they see?

What are the monkeys doing?
What’s the elephant doing?(引出课题,板书并教读)

2. Play the flash again, let’s Ss follow it.
从情境中引出本课课题,学生容易理解并记忆。

让学生熟读课文。

Presentation
Ss: Yes ,they are.
1. See the flash about activity 2.
Answer:
Ss: I can see elephant, tigers, bird and horse.
There are two tigers and one horse.

2.Look and find the answer:
It’s drawing pictures.
They’re jumping.
It’s singing.
It’s dancing.
在图片的帮助下学习单词drawing, jumping, singing, dancing
3. Listen and repeat.
Follow the tape to read the new sentences. And try to pronounce correctly.
T: Are the monkeys and elephant clever?
Yes, there are lots of clever and cute animals. Let’s see others.
1.Play the flash about activity 2.
Ask:
What animals can you see?

How many tigers and horses are there?
What are the animals doing?
2. Play the video again.

What’s the elephant doing?
What are the tigers doing?
What’s the bird doing?
What’s the horse doing?
配以图片PPT,让学生回答问题。(板书重点单词)

3.T: Excellent!
You’re clever.
Let’s listen and read.
Play the video again and ask the student to repeat sentence by sentence. Try to imitate the pronunciation and intonation.
   

播放第一遍动画,整体感知。
播放第二遍动画,让学生带着问题观看。
再次听课文,让学生跟读。培养学生对课文的阅读能力。

1.T:Today we learnt to describle somebody’s actions . And we know the abilities of the animals.(带领同学们读板书)
2. T:The animals are very clever. And you’re clever too. So I’m happy today. Are you happy?
Let’s sing a song.(播放活动四的歌曲)

强调重点,内化新知。
在歌曲中结束今天的课程,让孩子们回味无穷。

Homework

在家里画好后,先给父母们介绍这些活动。再带到学校来和同学互相交流。
布置活动六的画图作业。
