Module10 第1课时教学设计
一、教学内容
外研版小学英语五年级上册第十模块第1课时Unit1 Activities 1— 2。
二、教学目标
1. 能够理解并运用短语: in the kitchen, in the bedroom, the toilet, in the living room, behind the sofa.
2. 能听懂、会读课文句子。
3. 能够运用所学的语言知识和同伴玩捉迷藏。
三、教学重难点
重点:学习并掌握Where is somebody? Somebody is somewhere.句型的问答。
难点:能够熟练阅读并表演语篇情景。
四、教学准备
1. 单词卡片(可从优教平台下载“Module10 Unit1单词卡片集”直接使用)。
2. 音频(可从优教平台下载使用)。
3. PPT课件。
五、教学设计
Step 1 Warm-up
1. Greeting.
2. Let’s do.
Go to the living room, watch TV.
Go to the kitchen, have a snack.
Go to the toilet, wash my face.
Go to the study, read a book.
Go to the bedroom, have a sleep.
3. 学习Listen and chant.(完成课文活动1)
学生听音并跟读,重点复习地点名词。
I’m in the kitchen.
I’m in the bedroom.
I’m in the toilet.
I’m in the living room.
【设计意图】Let’s do.环节让学生动起来,活跃课堂气氛让学们带着愉悦的心情进行本堂课的教学。通过反复呈现地点名词,为下面的重点语句教学做准备。
Step 2 Presentation (Listen, read and act out.)
T: Now, Sam, Tom, John, Lingling and Amy are playing a hide-and-seek. (捉迷藏,多读几遍,并板书)Where is Sam? Where is Lingling? Where is John? Let’s have a look together.
让学生回答老师的提问,最后一起核对答案。
Step 3 Listen, read and act out
1. Listen to the tape and find out the new words.
(1) hide-and-seek: 捉迷藏
(2) bedroom: 卧室I sleep in my bedroom.
(3) found: find的过去式 I found my cat in the kitchen yesterday.
(4) kitchen:厨房Go to the kitchen, cook dinner.
(5) toilet: 厕所Go to the toilet, wash my face.
(6) living room: 起居室 Go to the living room, watch TV.
(7) hide: 躲藏Look, she’s hiding behind the door.
(8) won: win的过去式I won the game.
【设计意图】利用中英文结合、造句和肢体语言帮助学生理解新词。
2. Read the new words one by one.
3. Listen again and follow the text, then answer the questions and practice.
Where is Sam?
Where is Lingling?
Where is John?
Where is Tom?
What is Tom doing?
【设计意图】听音并跟读文,学生整体感知了课,了解了课文的大概内容,通过提出问题并回答,让学生提炼短文的重要信息。
4. Role play.
先师生分角色操练,再小组之间,然后让学生个人表演。
【设计意图】分角色表演课本剧是同学们喜欢的一种表演形式,在表演过程中,学生能无畏地开口运用语言,再加上适当的动作表演,对学生来说这本身就是一种极大的进步,老师应当及时鼓励并表扬表现好的学生。
5. Sum up.
Sam, Amy and some children are playing hide-and-seek. Where is Sam? Oh, he is in the bedroom. Where is Lingling? Oh, she is in the toilet. Where is John? Oh, he is in the kitchen. Where Tom? Oh, he is in the living room. He is sleeping there. Haha …
6. Read the text together.
【设计意图】归纳课文大意再整体朗读课文,让学生巩固课堂所学知识,再回归文本,加深记忆。
Step 4 Consolidation and extension
Play hide-and-seek in the classroom.
游戏说明:老师点几名学生藏起来(或蹲下,或藏在同学背后、门后等),一名学生站在讲台前,背向大家,等躲藏的同学藏好了,该同学再去寻找,找到了必须说: ... is in somewhere. 如实在找不出,则问其他同学:Where is ...? Is he in the ...? 然后根据其他学生的回答找出所藏同学,最后用句子I found ... first. He was in the …来总结。句子提供: Stand in the comer of the class-room(站在教室角落处)/crouched behind the desk(蹲在书桌后面)/near somebody/near the window/near the door/near the teacher’s desk/near the blackboard/behind the door/behind.
【设计意图】为了培养学生们的创新思维和丰富的想象力,在学完一篇课文后,学生理解、会读、也基本会运用课文中主要句型、关键词语后,教师引导学生对所学知识学以致用,与生活紧密联系起来。学生们积极性高了,就等于成功了一半。但是,任何一种游戏活动的设置,都必须要求学生积极运用所学知识,巩固课堂效果。
Step 5 Homework
1. Listen to the tape and read the text twice.
2. Play hide-and-seek with your family at home.

1. Let’s play hide-and-seek.
2. Now, where is Sam? Oh, there he is! He’s in the bedroom!

七、回顾总结
本课时学习了运用 Where is somebody? He is in somewhere. I found somebody first. He was in the ...等句型,学生要掌握一些家里的地点名词并在课外多开展一些活动丰富课余生活。
